The descent between Balazuc and Ruoms is without any doubt the most beautiful and amazing one, during one day or an half. You’ll paddle ca. 3,5 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The start is 2km far away from the village of Balazuc. (from our base where you will have access to both private car park and pier.) Take a look around this beautiful village from the XII\u00b0 century, right above the river, cross the bridge and then the cliffs, where you will have an amazing sight on the Tour de la Reine Jeanne (Tower of the Queen Jeanne).\u00a0Further away, in the course of a meander, you’ll stare at the Viel Audon hamlet. Finally, you’ll stay at the Pradons Beach, right in front of its dovecote, hooked on the cliffs.<\/p>\n

You’ll be now halfway between Balazuc and Ruoms, you’ll cross a second bridge which links Pradons to Chauzon, and you’ll enter the National Reserve of Giens Circus (Cirque de Giens), with plunging limestone cliffs and fine sand beaches which will invite you to take a break, have a picnic, tan or dive into water for the daredevils.
